Point of no return
There once was a boy.
He was tormented,
devoured,
spat out.
Cruelly, repeatedly.
Driven to madness,
he burned away his face.
Mind lost,
unable to recognise himself,
as well as the world around him.
Left behind.
In complete darkness.
Full of despair,
doubt,
guilt.
All he can do now,
is to wait for death,
disappear into the black void.
And nothing will be different.
